Prepared for Service is a two year part-time programme of training which provides teaching, pastoral care and practical experience for individuals with the support of their local church. Prepared for Service is a training ministry of FIEC.

PfS Team

The remit of the PfS Team includes:

  1. oversight & delivery of the PfS course at The Carey Centre, Reading on a cost-effective basis.
  2. organising interview days for prospective PfS candidates.
  3. promoting training in FIEC churches and beyond through Prepared for Service.
  4. supporting & promoting the development of Learn2Lead through the syllabus of PfS.
  5. liaising with churches to assist their search for future leaders by appropriate placing of PfS graduates.
  6. maintaining links with other training providers and encouraging further training for PfS graduates.
  7. assisting the FIEC Training Director in seeking to grow men and women in gospel ministry.
