Trustee Services

FIEC Limited is a registered charity and trust corporation which manages the trusts of some 230 evangelical churches (not all of which are affiliated to the FIEC).  Its doctrinal basis is that of the Fellowship and its directors include members of the FIEC Council and other men experienced in law, finance and property.

The company's function is to safeguard a church's doctrinal position and other conditions of its trust deed as long as the church meets on the trust premises.  Otherwise it is not involved with the day to day affairs of a church and responsibility for church working funds remains in the hands of the church and its officers.

Corporate trusteeship gives the following advantages to a church:

  • It avoids the inconvenience and expense of periodically up-dating a trust deed because of deaths and other changes
  • The company will protect the property (and therefore the church) from any attempts to change its doctrinal position.
  • At a time when the charity sector is being subjected to increased regulation, the company keeps track of all the new developments affecting churches, and is ready to act or advise in response to every requirement.

FIEC Limited is registered as a charity (Reg. No. 251395) and is on the register of companies (Reg. No. 225717). FIEC Limited is also a registered charity in Scotland (Reg. No. SC039913).

For further details contact the Company Secretary at the FIEC Office.
